OUR WORDS ARE POWERFUL

 

Hello everyone!!!

Happy new week beautiful people. Hope you had a wonderful weekend!!. How did you spend your weekend guys? Did you go for weddings,hang out with friends or just stayed back home to relax??

I had a good one,just had a good rest the whole weekend and trust me I feel great. There is nothing like a good rest when you are exhausted. It revives you and make you ready for the following week. You can share with me how your weekend went on the comment section.

Today I want to talk about the power in our words. Do you know that there is power in our spoken words? That whatever you say has an effect on our lives or on whomever those words are being spoken too?

When you keep saying Negative things, negative things tend to follow you. You find out that those negative words become your reality.

For example things are not going on well for you at time in your life and you say " nothing is working for me" do you know that automatically nothing works out for you and you won't be able to see a way out of that situation. You won't see the help around you,you won't see solution to your problems. What happens is that you wallow in that situation, it keeps you caged mentally and you accept that situation as your identity.

If for example you are short of cash at a moment,don't go around calling yourself broke or poor or any other word that is not suitable, instead reject those negative thoughts when it comes to your head and speak positive things to yourself. Say things  like "I am rich not broke" " I live in abundance" " I have more than enough" etc and believe it with your heart. Before you know it ideas begin to enter your mind on what to do to get you out of that situation.

 This applies to anytime you find yourself in any negative situation you don't like. Keep speaking positive. No matter how bad it looks,speak positive. It's very powerful.

Another category is speaking negative to people who are under us. People like our kids,spouses,helpers, colleagues, sister, brother etc. Do not speak negative to people under your care especially your children. Imagine a child being told he is useless all the time as he is growing up. He does not know anything,he is stupid etc. That is so wrong. I am talking to mothers especially Nigerian mothers who have bad mouth but with the grace of God we can change.

 What happens along the line as the child is growing he starts acting stupid? You don't know that it is as a result of your words on the child's life. Don't say negative things to your house help. As long as they are under your roof they are your kids and you should treat them as such. Just because you are not the one who gave birth to them does not mean you should curse them out. Treat them well as you would your own children. Those curses you throw at them might be the reason they are being stubborn to you. 

Speak positively to people around you. Wherever you find yourself,at work or school or anywhere don't be the person known to throw curse at people at any little provocation. Learn to Control yourself and always carry yourself with class and dignity.

Learn to control your tongue. The Bible says life and death are in the tongue, so if you speak life,you will reap life and if you speak death, you will reap death. So my people let's be wise.
