The former governor of Abia state Dr. Orji Uzo Kalu,has condoled with Nigeria's first president ,Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe over the death of his first son and the Owelle of onitsha,Chief Chukwuma Bamidele Azikiwe who died on the 10th of may 2015 at the age of 75. Dr. Kalu noted that the deceased was a strong advocate of justice,fairness and equity irrespective of tribe,religion,political and economic divide. Kalu also stated that Chief Chukwuma was a man who lived a life dedicated to service of the people,He was a humanitarian who never shied away from touching lives at any given opportunity and upheld the goodwill left by his father,late President Nnamdi Azikiwe.The former governor prayed that God will give the Zik family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss and grant the deceased eternal rest. Kalu commiserated with the Obi of Onitsha ,Igwe Alfred Achebe,the government and the people of anambra state.The condolence message was signed by his special adviser Kunle Oyewumi.
